Juan Martin “Bai” Elorde is the son of former Southeast Asia boxing gold medalist Johnny Elorde. Nicknamed “Bai” after his grandfather Gabriel “Flash” Elorde, he started as an amateur fighter at age 15 and won the gold medal in the National Open .
His passion for boxing continued as he is now the World Boxing Organization Asia Pacific Super featherweight champion and currently rated in the world.
Bai at 30, holds a professional record of 20 fights winning 18 (8 by KO’s) 1 loss and 1 draw and dreams of becoming a world champion someday.
Bai also helps in the family business at the Elorde Sports Center in Sucat Paranaque that includes franchising boxing gyms all over the country.
